Questions on Homeopathic Provings

We put a series of questions to of a number of homeopaths with experience in doing homeopathic provings: Jeremy Sherr, Todd Rowe Susan Sonz and Peter Fraser.

The following questions were asked of a number of homeopaths experienced in doing homeopathic provings: Jeremy Sherr, Todd Rowe and Susan Sonz.

1.    What is the significance of provings in modern day homeopathy?

2.    Should new substances be proven or mainly reproving of old ones?

3.    Is it important to do double blind or single blind trials?

4.    How important is using placebo?

5.    Should the proving coordinator present a summary of some sort to make the material accessible.? How can proving material be made easily accessible?

6.    Should there be a standardized way of presenting proving material?

7.    How often do you give your own proven remedies?

8.    How much significance do you put to "synchronous" events that occur during the proving time? Do you feel this phenomena is exaggerated in provings?

9.    In your experience of reviewing other people's provings, how often do you perceive the the coordinator's own prejudice/subjectivity has affected the material presented?

10.    What has been the most important thing you have learnt doing provings?
