How Can I Find Out About New Provings?

By Richard Pitt   Fri, Dec 01, 2006

Having a resource that helps one locate new proving information is a great help. There is now a website in which much of this information is available.

Homeopathy is a system of medicine heavy on the use of words.  Provings, representing the backbone of knowledge for the profession, are daunting to read and challenging to interpret into clinical use.  This fact can make a person reluctant to embrace the ever growing amount of information that new provings add to this challenge.  It may seem daunting to explore much of this new world of information, but the fact remains that as many new remedies have been proven it is important to study them and use them as appropriate.  It is only in their use that their full potential will be realized.

Accessing this information can be diffcult and so having a resource that helps in this search is a great help.  There is now a website in which much of this information is available.  It is at www.provings.com.  We at the journal had initially thought to try and create a list of many of the new provings, so readers could quickly access information of new remedies.  However, as this site already exists, we want to refer you to it for your own study and hope it makes your job easier in the journey of proving exploration.

This web site was created by The Dynamis School for Advanced Homoeopathic Medicine and Archibel, the makers of "Radar", in collaboration with the European Committee for Homeopathy and the Brazilian Proving Committee.

What follows is a very brief list of a few of the newer provings, to whet your appetite for more.
